They had some interesting releases through █▓█ █ █ █▓█ Goya a few years back, and with this █▓█ █ █ █▓█ mini-compilation, they again define their sound. █▓█ █ █ █▓█ █▓█ █ █ █▓█ That sound is situated somewhere between broken █▓█ █ █ █▓█ beats, and techno and house. Side A showcases the █▓█ █ █ █▓█ former, with Joel Harrison's excellent "Cosmos" - █▓█ █ █ █▓█ broken house with a great drive. The highlight in █▓█ █ █ █▓█ my opinion is delivered by Jason Todd, who █▓█ █ █ █▓█ seamlessly blends bruk with P-funk and house, █▓█ █ █ █▓█ resulting in a very catchy future funker. Ace! █▓█ █ █ █▓█ █▓█ █ █ █▓█ Side B holds two more techy tracks, that remind █▓█ █ █ █▓█ me of the Delsin sound - which can't be but good. █▓█ █ █ █▓█ First comes Oblique with the midtempo 808 █▓█ █ █ █▓█ excursion "Mood Music" and then we have the Loose █▓█ █ █ █▓█ Ensemble, which is Oblique + Simbad (aka Mowgly, █▓█ █ █ █▓█ Twitch...).
