Honeyroot-Sweet Like Honey "Experienced" popsters can either retire and open a pub, top themselves, or continue under a new identity. Thankfully, Honeyroot opted for the latter, kind of. A core of two well-kent faces, Glenn Gregory and Keith Lowdnes may be familiar names via their past bands. Indeed Glenn is still singer and frontman with Heaven 12, having in his time worked with everyone who's anyone - from Tina Turner to John Lydon, Grace Jones to Propaganda. Keith Played live with ABC and spent many years DJing. He's also been involved with the likes of Magazine, PIL and Siouxsie and the Banshees as well as Rodney P. Breschev-Acidic Visions of God An enigmatic collective, as their trilogy of EPs shows. This is from the first of these and shows the more chilled side of the Perth band, though you can expect beats and epic noisescapes from their other recorded and indeed live performances. My Legendary Girlfriend-Light Ent. Reliance Formed in 1996, MLG are set to release their 2nd album "Gross Domestic Product". Resolutely independant, this is on their own Press Hat and Cigar label which has also put out the likes of the Smoke compilation album. Ostle Bay-Windows on the Pavement Brainchild of Peter Rode - Play recordings' head honcho and songwriting genius - Ostle Bay have a squad of musicians, drawn mainly from the Trashcan Sinatras, chipping in on their recordings. Meaning that the "Greetings from Ostle Bay" album, from which this track comes, is one of the most lush and musically rounded albums you are likely to hear. Sputniks Down-Let's Not The Spuds created some landmark electronica a few years back on their Human Condition album "Much Was Decided Before you Were Born". They are now concentrating on working on new material as well as being heavily involved with internet label j.hab. Aereogramme-Wood From their 2nd and very varied album for Chemikal Underground, this shows their heavier side. Ritterskamp-Return Ticket From their bizarre and great album "The Govaners". Kasule-Christie Kasule are from Lanarkshire and consist of 3 guitarists - Stephen McEwan, John McEwan and Alan McGonigle, plus trumpeter Clare Handley and sundry guests like accordionist Jim McCann.
