Won Mississippi - Teaching Girls to Drive The 4-piece are from Berwick, Rock City. This is from their 'Welcome Careful Drivers' release. Capital Stereo Conspiracy - Anyone But Me This is on their new 'Catch Sequence' EP which when released as a demo last year had the industry fairly buzzing. Tacoma Radar - Take Your Time A special preview from their album, coming in spring on Andmoresound Records (home to Camera Obscura). The Aphrodisiacs - Against the Grain Peel's personal Festive 50 faves, they recently performed a Robert Burns cover. This original track was recorded at home on a palmtop studio, not that you'd know it... more quality music from Lanarkshire. There's a wee funny bit at about 2:40 in this track, it's like that on the cd. The Electroluvs - Monsterland A split single with Roger should be out soon on Stolenwine, but this is a brand new track from the Ayrshire duo. The Beauty Shop - Science Lights This alt.country/folk/delete as appropriate track is taken from the 'Yr Money of Yr Life' album on Francis MacDonald's Shoeshine label. [cayto] - c'mere Don't be fooled, their 'Your Atoms are Laughing' album contains such a variety of styles that this track, like the others, is no indication at all of the delights that await you.
