During this time the Stompa Phunk crew have been responsible for some of the most block rockin' parties to have taken place on the south coast (legal or otherwise). Now armed to the teeth with a critically acclaimed record label (by the same name) and a weekly clubnight on the seafront Stompa Phunk are proving a force to be reckoned with. Following the huge success of the cover mount CD on 7 magazine (Sep 2001) Stompa Phunk are offering their loyal supporters the missing piece of the puzzle, and supplying it on vinyl, how nice! The music on this impressive EP has received a high level of interest after the 7 magazine profile boost. At present support couldn't be stronger for the SP sound. A grinding, grungy trip through 'house' with edits almost as funky as the lick itself. Has to be said the arrangements is abnormal but this is the beauty of this timeless piece' The hypnotic effect whips you up and just as quickly as it's got you it disappears! The first vinyl offering of new Stompa Phunker - ed has had a wild childhood under the influence of Old Skool Electro & Hip-Hop, and its very apparent when you hear his music. Smooth synthetic strings wash over poppin' robotic beats, a true 2002 hybrid.
