CUE files originated in the good old times of DAO.EXE & ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ SNAPSHOT.EXE, part of the MS-DOS utils pack which preceeded the now ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ scene-standard CDRWin. Go read the CDRWin Help for a good explanation ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ of how this clear and easy scripting language works. Given the fact ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ that you *know* more or less about CUEs, we'll show you some useful ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ tips for we all rippers. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Ripping a *FULL* Mixed or Live CD in EAC: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Copy Image And Create CUE Sheet/Compressed. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ (Given that LAME MP3 Encoder is properly setup in EAC). ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Ripping a *FULL* Mixed or Live CD & a *Bonus Track* in EAC: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Copy Range/Compressed. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ (Given that LAME MP3 Encoder is properly setup in EAC). ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Here, Select End Position at the end of the last mixed track (usually, ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ the one just before the very last one) and click on Snap Gap. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Select OK and let the rip go 'till the end. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Select the last track and rip it normally. Now for the CUE file: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Create CUE Sheet/Current Gap Settings ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Rename the CUE to filename.cue.txt and double-click on it and Notepad ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ will load it. Go to the end of text. You'll see something similar to: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ TRACK 15 AUDIO ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ INDEX 01 60:12:15 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ TRACK 16 AUDIO ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ INDEX 01 65:32:50 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ You must "insert" the bonus track (that you ripped separately): ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ TRACK 15 AUDIO ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ INDEX 01 60:12:15 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ FILE "02-bonus_track-etlmp3.mp3" MP3 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ TRACK 16 AUDIO ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ PREGAP 00:02:00 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ INDEX 01 00:00:00 ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Note that the last track is now taken from a new MP3 file (the bonus ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ track) and the time counts FROM INSIDE THE NEW FILE; this is why the ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ INDEX value is reset to 00:00:00. We have also added a PREGAP, which ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ is that "-00:02, -00:01, 00:00, [the song starts]" usually displayed ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ on screen by the home CD players on most commercial CDs. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Oh, yes, *DO* always remember to load the CUE from inside CDRWin (as ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ if you were going to burn a CD). If it loads, OK. Suponiendo que ya *sabes* algo mas o menos ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ sobre CUEs, te mostraremos algunos consejos utiles para rippers: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Ripear un CD *COMPLETO* Mezclado o Live en EAC: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Copy Image And Create CUE Sheet/Compressed. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ (Suponiendo que LAME MP3 Encoder esta correctamente ajustado en EAC). ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Ripear un CD *COMPLETO* Mezclado o Live con un *Bonus Track* en EAC: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Copy Range/Compressed. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ (Suponiendo que LAME MP3 Encoder esta correctamente ajustado en EAC). ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Aqui, en Select End Position, selecciona el final del ultimo track ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ mezclado (normalmente, el penultimo) y haz click en Snap Gap. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Haz click en OK y deja que el rip vaya hasta el final. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Selecciona el ultimo track y ripealo normalmente. Ahora el CUE: ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ---> Action/Create CUE Sheet/Current Gap Settings ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Renombra el CUE a nombre.cue.txt y haz doble-click en el y Notepad lo ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ cargara. Ve al final del texto. Tambien hemos anyadido un PREGAP, ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ que es el "-00:02, -00:01, 00:00, [comienza la cancion]" que suelen ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ mostrar en pantalla los reproductores caseros de CD en la mayoria de ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ CDs comerciales. ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ Ah, si, recuerda cargar *SIEMPRE* el CUE desde CDRWin (como si fueras ▐▒▌ ▐▒▌ a quemar un CD). Si carga, perfecto.
