The span of the works is equally amazing, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ as the album quickly switches from Hawaiian name ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ chanting to Australian songman works, to Islamic ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Quran recitations (though in Islam orthodoxy, music ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ is generally frowned upon as a religious activity, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ and the recitations are officially not music as ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ such). Given the dating of some of the works, the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ recording quality is exceptional. The highlights on ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ the album are many. First, there is the traditional ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ form of Australian aboriginal didgeridoo playing, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ as accompaniment to a song (not like Mickey Hart's ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ works necessarily). Also, there's a Santeria ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ ceremony portion led by Milton Cardona that holds a ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ quite lively beat. Also included are a couple of ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Christian orthodox pieces unearthed from the ages, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ both from a British Ladymass and a Serbian Orthodox ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ work, which are incredibly well performed. Quite ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ possibly the most extravagant work on the album, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ though, is the excerpt from a performance of the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Ramayana by the Kecak Ganda Sari group. The ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ performers number from 75 to 100 and interlock ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ their notes so as to create a fluid whole in the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ music. The power in this particular performance is ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ possibly the greatest available on albums in ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ general circulation (certainly more than one would ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ find on Music From the Morning of the World). As a ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ fan of any form of ethnic music, one should ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ definitely dig up this album.
