The quality of the album is ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ incredibly high, including works from Burkina ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Faso's Farafina, Zimbabwe's Stella Chiweshe, master ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ frame drum Glen Velez, and many more. The span over ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ continents and traditions is as usual for Ellipsis ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ (that is to say, incredibly far-reaching). The ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ highlights on the album are many. The first one to ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ run across is the first track on the album: ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Farafina's self titled song for a full ensemble of ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ balofons. Next comes a duet of Indian tabla playing ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ from current tabla master Zakir Hussain and his ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ father, Ustad Alla Rakha (now deceased, but ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ formerly the undisputed master of the tabla). ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Eventually, one comes across royal drumming ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ techniques from Ghanaian Mustapha Tettey Addy, ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ which have a special amount of rhythm afforded to ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ the kings of the Ashante kingdom.
