As usual, the span ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ covered is broad, as the songs switch quickly from ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Celtic to Sufi to Korean without batting an eye. ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Some of the highlights on the album include G.S. ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Sachdev's raga on the bansuri flute (a smallish ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Indian folk flute now used in classical music) and ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ a quick paced work of Persian classical from the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ island of Zanzibar. Also included is a lush ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ composition by the Guo Brothers of China (featured ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ on the soundtrack to Last Emperor) and an improv by ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Egyptian ethnomusicologist Soliman Gamil (also ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ featured on volume two). Finally, the album ends ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ with a contemplative work by an unnamed master of ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ the Japanese shakuhachi flute.
