Vanessa Amara "Poses" EP
Vanessa Amara returns after a stretch of silence with Poses. Straying
from their previous path of minimal contemporary ambient music, Poses
is a patchwork of ideas; a fragmented journey into future folklore, a
flux of strategies for new sacred sound worlds, a collage of rushes
and crushes, focusing on asking new questions rather than repeating
old answers.
Moments of playful absurdity rub shoulders with glimpses of pristine
beauty. Poses is fun and flamboyant and at the same time skillfully
displays Vanessa Amara's knack for captivating melodies.
