Only 7 tracks long, Eternal Nightmare is █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ nontheless a solid dose of Thrash in the traditional Bay Area style. █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ One of the striking characteristics of this album are the vocals █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ which many consider annoying. They aren't the type of gruff shrieks █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ you might be accustomed to but rather high-pitched strains that can █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ get on your nerves a bit. Worse still are the classically bad █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ lyrics. Talk about cheese. Regardless, the music itself is very good █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ 80's Thrash; clean and polished with a good production. There is █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ plenty in the way of technical architecture to the songs and there █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ is a generally tight feel to the whole affair. Its reasonably █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ straightforward in both structure and exectution with lots of time █▀███████████▀▀▌ █▌ ▐███▓░░ and riff changes.
