But for Wais, it wasn't about chasing names, but rather collaborating with artists that he likes, that he felt would add to the project. "I wanted to work with artists that I thought were interesting," says Wais, "I wanted to work with charismatic personalities. Mistah FAB ΓÇô he has a big personality; everyone knows Action Bronson; GLC is one of the most prolific pimp spitters in the game other than myself." And in addition to the big name features, Wais also uses PV$$Y RICH to introduce the artists on his label, Every Hood Records, artists like Took Da Locsta, who is featured on the tape's intro and the track "Real Pimps." Beyond the features, though, Wais is the true star of the tape, delivering not only tracks that fall in line with his Pimp-Hop movement, but also songs like "G. Dep," a track that pays homage to the former Bad Boy rapper, currently serving time for a murder charge. "I tried to emulate his flow, which is still innovative to this day," says Wais of the track.
