A tasty and nasty release. ║ │ │║ The title track is powerful and driving, with ║ │ │║ "When the Hammer Falls" providing another strong ║ │ │║ groove. The steady grind of "American Spirit ║ │ │║ Horse" is good, and is contrasted by the faster ║ │ │║ pace of "White Lies," with its slashing backbone ║ │ │║ rhythm. ║ │ │║ "Axtion" is sharp with a nasty chorus, and the ║ │ │║ ripping "Nightmare" is a treat. The band keeps ║ │ │║ throwing the goods at you, as "Bloodlust" is ║ │ │║ slower and methodical, and "Hard on You" rocks ║ │ │║ and mauls. ║ │ │║ This is a devilish, caustic approach to power ║ │ │║ chords and churns, and a definite winner.
