The goal of OMR is to bring quality to the scene, often rare and old releases which can't be found ripped properly. Releases often have skips/clicks in them and the inviduals/groups who rip them do not even care, or tracks are incorrectly named due to guessing (or again through carelessness), and in some cases the tracks are totally mixed up with tracks not corresponding to their names etc. Lastly some still use encoders such as Xing/Lame etc....... OMR is here to change all of that, shoutouts to all the individuals/groups who take the time to make sure they release quality rips.
