Melbourne producer Juxtpose returns to Heard and Felt with more
'machine funk futurism' (Thump's description of his previous release
for the label). This time, he's announcing the revivial of his
childhood nickname, Wu Kush, as his outlet for more offbeat, housey
and groove-oriented tracks. While putting the finishing touches to a
number of new releases for Heard and Felt, he's starting out with this
digital-only EP.
The sound is rough, ready and direct, full of analogue bass, bleeps
and dirty drums. It references the 90s period when techno producers
were taking their sounds beyond the traditional 'four to the floor'
