Zebedee Productions was initially formed so the crew would have the chance to play outside of their own homes as the Auckland DJ scene, like anywhere, can be damn difficult to break into. The first party, 'Total Mayhem' was held in a small pub in Auckland with a great crowd that turned up both for support and just to see what was going on. It was basically from the success of this event that Zebedee Productions was formed. One more event - 'Hoover' - was held at the same venue, and was a complete sell-out. The time had now come for a serious look at what to do - regulated growth was the answer, and the next venue 'Galatos' was secured. Six productions were held in Galatos, these being Enlightenment, Energy Dreams, Storm, Synthetic Air and 'ONE' - Zebedee Productions' first birthday and New Zealands first hi energy event with a full female lineup in two rooms. Now considered as New Zealands premier high energy dance production team, Zebedee's most recent events include the hardhouse room at Godskitchen and Sasha.
