The release title cut (Imprints) kicks off with djimboh's (signature) deep, yet driving groove. Indeed, the tension between the energetic rhythm and delicate, crystalline melodic themes proves intoxicating from the song's earliest moments. As the song approaches the main breakdown, the arrangement continues to crescendo, as layer upon layer of mellifluous and poignant synth lines imbue the soundscape.
